Langwith Bassett is now an Artsmark school. Artsmark is a progressive scheme that seeks to help improve education and the life chances of children through enriched and enlivened arts and cultural opportunities within school. It follows a set of 7 Quality Principles to inspire planning for high quality arts learning experiences. These seven Quality Principles are:

- Being exciting, inspiring and engaging
- Ensuring a positive and inclusive experience
- Actively involving children and young people
- Enabling personal progression
- Developing belonging and ownership
Our final exhibition for our Arts Project, “Little People, Big Worlds,” was a great success, attended by lots of parents. We were very proud of all the finished pieces created by the children in each class. Have a look at the photos to see the brilliant artworks.
