Breakfast Club
Langwith Bassett Primary Academy is pleased to offer a daily Breakfast Club, providing children with a welcoming, safe and supervised start to the school day.
As part of our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, children attending Breakfast Club can choose from a selection of nutritious breakfast options. These include:
· Toast
· Bagels
· A selection of breakfast cereals
· Fresh fruit
Booking Arrangements
From September 2026, Breakfast Club is provided free of charge for all KS1 & KS2 children. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer places to nursery children as part of the Government's Free Breakfast Club Programme.
Places must be booked on a termly basis to enable the school to plan staffing levels and ensure sufficient places are available. Booking deadlines will be communicated to parents in advance of each term.
Arrival
Breakfast Club runs from 7:50am until the start of the school day.
Children should be brought to the main school entrance via the pedestrian gate at the front of the school and handed directly to a member of staff. For safeguarding reasons, children must not be left unattended outside the school entrance.
Allocation of Places
Where demand exceeds the number of available places, allocations will be made as follows:
Priority 1: Children wanting full-time places. This means every day, every week.
Priority 2: Children requiring part-time permanent sessions. This means the same days every week and is dependent on spaces available.
Priority 3: Children who already attend the club and require permanent extra sessions.
Priority 4: Siblings of children who already attend the club.
Priority 5: Children requiring irregular sessions.
If you have any questions about the Breakfast Club or require further information, please contact the school office who will be happy to assist.
